CHILLER
Chiller
is a package system. The chiller system is a system that produces cold water for
devices such as fan-coils, convectors and heat pumps in the areas to be cooled
instead of cooling the ambient air. This system is generally preferred in places with high cooling
needs.
It is produced in
two types as air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.
Air-cooled
devices can be used in an open to the atmosphere, but when there is not enough
space, water-cooled chillers can also be used in closed spaces with the help of
a cooling tower.
It
generally operates in 7-12 ºC water regime. It operates on the principle of cooling the
indoor air by passing 7 ºC chilled water over the fan-coil, convector, heat
pump and air handling unit batteries on the system with circulation pumps.
This
system, which consists of a heater battery and a fan behind the coil, provides
the heating and/ or cooling of the environment with forced air circulation.
They
are devices that perform heating when the hot water from the boiler room and
cooling when the cold water from the chiller passes through the battery.
These
devices, which can be in different capacities and models depending on the
needs, are generally used for the conditioning of areas such as offices, stores
and warehouses.
Two-way
servomotor valve located at the entrance of the installation and generally
working on/ off is controlled by a thermostat and ensures that the environment
is kept in the desired comfort conditions.
